An AI shopping experience with the warmth of a great sales associate
Tiger's Eye created the complete shopping experience for Mobeus's web-based agentic retail platform—from shopper research and journey mapping to AI agent design, spatial UX, modular e-commerce architecture, and a white-label system built to reach new heights with brand experience design.

"In this new medium, design will be the ultimate differentiator. Tiger's Eye understands that better than anyone."

Every retailer, hospitality group, and CPG brand is being asked the same question right now: what's your AI strategy, and what does it look like for your customer? Most responses are stuck on the surface level.
Mobeus set out to build the real thing—a web-based agentic shopping experience where shoppers talk, gesture, and move through a store the way they would in real life, guided by AI. The technology was real. The experience wasn't. Yet.
They needed a partner who could translate frontier technology into something a luxury shopper, a mass-retail buyer, or a fast-casual customer would actually want to use. And one strategic enough to make enterprise retail partners experience the future, not just imagine it.
Voice. Gesture. AI agent interaction, and conversational commerce. Navigation. Visual merchandising for digital retail. Spatial logic. End-to-end shopper experience. We took on all of it.

“We’re operating at the frontier where nobody knows what’s coming next. Strategy in that space is hard, but Tiger’s Eye delivered clarity even when everything ahead is unknown.”
Most AI retail concepts fail the same way: they're impressive in a demo and exhausting in real life. Mobeus had bleeding-edge technology and a 90-day window to turn it into something an enterprise retailer would license and a shopper would actually return to. The brief was simple to say and hard to do—design an AI experience engaging enough to win the room, and familiar enough to win the sale.

Start With the Shopper, Not the Software
To ground the platform in real retail behavior, we started by developing six shopper personas and mapping their journeys to identify friction points and high-impact moments.
We built six shopper personas grounded in real retail behavior—from the decisive buyer who knows exactly what she wants to the inspiration-led browser who shops the way she scrolls. Then we mapped each one's journey end to end, surfacing the friction points and the moments where AI could genuinely earn its place.
The result was contextual search that behaves less like a database and more like a great sales associate. Imagine walking into a Nordstrom flagship overwhelmed by options and having the floor's most intuitive associate quietly narrow it down with you. That's the experience we designed, at scale.

“Tiger’s Eye brought a deep understanding of how people want to visualize, filter, and ultimately purchase information in the fastest, most friendly manner.”
Build It Once. Brand It Anywhere.
We designed a modular e-commerce system covering every touchpoint that matters: onboarding, gesture navigation, product interaction, cart, checkout, and account management. One core architecture, infinite brand expressions, all delivered through the browser, so retail partners could deploy without app stores, custom hardware, or platform gatekeepers.
The breakthrough came when we stopped designing a screen and started designing a space. By introducing left and right dashboard environments—accessed through head movement, gesture, or mouse—we gave the shopper room to think. Inventory on one side. Personal context on the other. The product front and center. It's the spatial logic of visual merchandising in a real store, translated to the AI era of digital retail.

“Many partners claim they’ll bring strategic value, but they often fold to the client’s biases. Tiger’s Eye actually brings differentiated thinking.”
Designed for AOV. Engineered for Conversion.
Every design decision had to defend itself against two questions: does this lift average order value, and does this drive conversion? Those are the metrics retail buyers care about, and they're the metrics we designed against, from the way the AI agent suggests complementary items to the friction we deliberately removed at checkout.
The interface had to be unmistakably Mobeus and instantly transformable into Ralph Lauren, Nordstrom, or any luxury, premium, or mass retailer Mobeus brought to the table.
The white-label system we built lets retail partners drop in their typography, color, photography, and tone—without compromising the underlying logic Mobeus owns. It's the rare design solution that scales for both sides of the partnership.

"Startups are great at coming up with ideas. It's the execution we struggle with, and Tiger’s Eye has been fantastic at moving us from idea to execution."
In 90 days, we turned a frontier AI technology into a market-ready retail platform and the sales asset that opened doors at top-50 US retailers. It's the difference between pitching the future and selling it.
A market-ready AI retail platform. Designed end-to-end—voice, gesture, AI agent, navigation, and spatial logic—ready to license and ready to ship.
A sales-ready demo environment. Engineered to walk investors and enterprise retail partners through the future of AI shopping in a single sitting and make them believe it.
A modular, white-label system built to scale. Six shopper personas, a complete e-commerce template, and a brand-flexible architecture that lets Mobeus drop in retail partners from luxury to mass market without rebuilding the experience.
A commercial asset that opens doors. The demo became Mobeus's most powerful sales tool, driving enterprise conversations with multiple top-50 US retailers—the kind of rooms where vision alone doesn't get a second meeting.
The strategic clarity to win minds. Mobeus walked into those conversations with a defensible point of view on what AI agent and conversational commerce looks like, why it works, and how it scales—turning frontier technology into a credible enterprise pitch.

"Working with Tiger's Eye is like getting the best team from a large design shop while still getting the agility and personal attention of a small one."
Every brand we work with is being asked the same question: what's your AI strategy, and what does it look like for your customer?
Mobeus is one answer. But the principles behind it—start with the shopper, design for AOV and conversion, build modular so it scales, and never let the technology overshadow the experience—are the same principles we bring to legacy brands modernizing for the AI era.
If you're thinking about what AI looks like for your customer, we’ve already started.
